Full job description

Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused individual to join our busy tyre shop as a Sales advisor Role. This is a varied role combining front-of-house reception duties with sales responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Providing advice on tyres, services, and pricing
Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
Answer incoming calls promptly and direct them appropriately
Manage appointment scheduling and maintain the appointment calendar
Assist customers with enquiries, providing product information and support
Support sales team by processing orders and maintaining customer records
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the reception area
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth daily operations

Experience

Previous experience in customer service role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred
Friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional appearance
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Duties

Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product or service solutions
Manage inbound and outbound customer enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions
Assist customers with product information, troubleshooting, and after-sales support to ensure high levels of satisfaction
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products or services
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using organisational IT systems
Plan and prioritise daily tasks efficiently, ensuring excellent time management
Drive personal development by staying informed about industry trends and organisational offerings

Skills

Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly
Effective time management and organisational skills to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Valid driving licence is preferred for roles requiring travel between client sites or organisational offices
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
