Full job description

Are you a skilled CNC Turner looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to innovative engineering projects? Join our dynamic team at ISS Precision Engineering, a leading engineering company known for its commitment to excellence and cutting-edge solutions.

Perks:

4 day working week Monday to Thursday (Monday – Wednesday: 7am – 5pm, Thursday: 7am – 4.30pm).
Flexible bank holidays to use as you wish.
Regular overtime.
Annual works weekend holiday abroad – paid for!

Responsibilities:

Set up, operate and program Fanuc control Doosan machines to manufacture precision components according to engineering specifications.
Interpret technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate machining processes.
Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor machining operations to maintain quality standards and meet production targets.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

Well developed experience as a CNC Turner, demonstrating proficiency in machine setup, operation, and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of machining techniques, tools, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and work instructions.
Team player with effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Prior experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment is required.
Proficient in Fanuc programming with experience with Y and C-Axis prefered. Training on this can be offered for the right applicant.
Experience with Gibbscam or Featurecam would be an advantage.
