Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and friendly Bar Staff/Waitress to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. This role involves serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Taking orders accurately and efficiently from customers
Serving food and beverages in a courteous and timely manner
Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas
Handling cash transactions and operating POS systems with basic maths skills
Assisting in setting up tables and clearing after service
Maintaining knowledge of menu items, including specials and dietary options
Adhering to food safety standards and health & safety regulations
Providing excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
Managing multiple tables during busy periods with effective time management

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or bar service is advantageous but not mandatory
Knowledge of food safety procedures and standards is desirable
Strong serving skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during peak hours
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and a personable attitude

Pay: £12.21-£12.70 per hour
