Job Overview

We are seeking energetic and dedicated Term Time Only School Cleaning Operatives to join our vibrant team! This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors during school term times. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the school premises, ensuring a positive experience for everyone. This position is perfect for individuals looking for flexible, part-time work aligned with the school calendar, with paid employment during all scheduled working days.

Kings Hawford Prep School - Worcester, Term Time Only, Monday-Friday, 6pm-8:30pm

Stourport High School - Stourport, Term Time Only, Monday-Friday, 4pm-6pm

Offmore Primary School - Kidderminster, Term Time Only, Monday-Friday, 2:45pm-6pm

St Barts Primary - Lunchtime Suporvisor, Arley Kings, Stourport, Term Time Only, Monday-Friday, 11:24pm-02:45pm

Matchborough Primary School - Redditch, Term Time Only, Monday-Friday, 4pm-6pm

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
Maintain high standards of hygiene by disinfecting surfaces and waste disposal in accordance with health and safety guidelines
Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries to ensure availability throughout the school day
Follow detailed cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are maintained to a professional standard
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
Adhere to health and safety policies at all times, including the proper handling of cleaning chemicals
Support the overall cleanliness of the school environment during designated term-time hours, ensuring minimal disruption to daily activities

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies used in a school or similar environment is advantageous
Ability to work independently with attention to detail and efficiency
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures related to cleaning tasks
Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills
