Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, supporting medical staff, and ensuring the well-being of patients across various clinical settings. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working within a supportive and professional environment.

Unfortunately, we do not offer preceptorship to newly qualified nurses.

24 hours per week

Duties

Deliver comprehensive patient care in accordance with medical protocols and organisational policies
Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely, monitoring for adverse reactions
Assist with patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history documentation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalised care plans
Educate patients and their families regarding health management, medication use, and post-discharge care
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal and organisational standards
Ensure infection control procedures are strictly followed to promote a safe clinical environment
Respond promptly to patient needs, providing reassurance and emotional support as required

Qualifications

Valid registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or equivalent regulatory body
Proven experience in patient care within a hospital or community setting is desirable
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
Proficiency in medication administration and understanding of pharmacology principles
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to empathise and build rapport with patients and colleagues
Organised, detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of care

This position is ideal for motivated individuals committed to delivering exceptional nursing services in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Pay: £21.50 per hour
