Full-Time Positions Available | Day and Night Shifts

Harley House Supported Living is seeking dedicated, energetic, and compassionate Support Workers to join our team in Clacton-on-Sea.

This rewarding role involves supporting a vibrant 21-year-old woman with a learning disability and complex needs. She is highly active, full of personality, and has a real zest for life. We are looking for individuals who are committed to making a meaningful difference, supporting her to achieve her goals, maximise her independence, and enjoy a fulfilling life.

This is a fast-paced and varied role where no two days are the same. Successful candidates will be proactive, adaptable, and able to multitask while providing high-quality, person-centred support.

Key Responsibilities

Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
Support with daily living activities and community access.
Promote independence, choice, and inclusion.
Safely support behaviours that may challenge.
Follow care and support plans, risk assessments, and positive behaviour support strategies.
Work collaboratively with family members and professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
Maintain accurate records and reports.
Support participation in meaningful activities and interests.

Training & Induction

Successful candidates will undertake:

Enhanced specialist training.
A comprehensive minimum two-week induction programme.
Shadow shifts with experienced team members.
Time spent with the individual's family to develop a deeper understanding of her personality, preferences, communication style, and support needs.
