Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Hairdresser to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hairstyling and beauty services, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves providing a wide range of hair treatments, styling, and specialised services Such as hair extensions (if qualified). The successful applicant will also have strong communication skills, a flair for upselling products and services, and experience in store management or mentoring roles. A professional attitude and dedication to ongoing learning are essential to thrive in this dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver professional hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, and specialised treatments
Offer excellent customer service by understanding client needs and advising on suitable treatments and products
Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling, client consultations, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
Assist with store management tasks, including stock organisation and maintaining salon cleanliness
Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and maximise revenue
Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism at all times

Experience

Proven experience as a Hairdresser or Barbering professional with a strong portfolio of work. level 3 ideally
Demonstrated ability in store management or supervisory roles within a salon environment is advantageous
Skilled in customer service with excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients
Experience in offering specialised beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions and makeup application is desirable
Ability to mentor junior team members and foster a positive team environment
Knowledge of upselling techniques to promote retail sales effectively
