Full job description

Production Operative - Multi Skilled
Scangrit are looking to recruit a Production Operator to join their busy Production Facility based in South Killingholme, to work on our high-speed automatic drying, screening, bagging and palletising production line .

The successful candidate must have a valid forklift Counterbalance certificate.

The job starts mainly on the fork truck moving palletised goods from production line, labelling, scanning in then moving goods to storage areas, also providing the production line with empty pallets, general housekeeping, screen changes and bailing, but then rotates between jobs on a weekly basis once trained to do so.

1-week Fork Truck end of production line, 1-week driving JCB Loading Shovel supplying raw materials to front end drying plant, operating the dryer controls and looking after the dust extractors (training will be given), 1-week operating automated bagging, palletising and stretch hood machine (training will be given). Will also be trained to use Bobcat and on-site road sweeper.

Basic 37.75 hour week with overtime required to suit the needs of the business.

Basic £13.72 per hour with Overtime paid at time and a half.

Normal hours are Monday to Thursday 0800 - 1615 and Friday 0700 - 1415 occasional early starts and Saturday morning working.

28 days paid holidays inclusive of all bank holidays, increasing after 5 & 10 years of service.

Performance related quarterly bonus.
