Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional hospitality. This role requires a blend of culinary experience and supervisory expertise, ensuring that our front-of-house team delivers outstanding service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Supervise and manage the front-of-house team, ensuring efficient service delivery and a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain high standards of culinary excellence and presentation.
Train and mentor team members in hospitality best practices, food safety, and customer service skills.
Manage inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
Implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area in accordance with health regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment, with a focus on front-of-house operations.
Strong supervisory experience, demonstrating effective team management skills.
Culinary experience is highly desirable, along with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
Excellent leadership abilities, with a knack for motivating and developing staff.
Previous experience in barista roles or hotel settings will be considered an advantage.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff alike.
