Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary General Manager to lead our Pub, Chop house & Private Dining rooms with enthusiasm, strategic insight, and a passion for excellence. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, drive sales growth, manage teams, and ensure exceptional customer experiences. Your leadership will inspire staff, optimise processes, and foster a vibrant workplace culture that aligns with our mission to deliver outstanding service and innovative solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader eager to make a meaningful impact and elevate our brand to new heights.

Duties

Provide strategic direction and set clear goals to ensure operational excellence across all departments
Lead, motivate, and supervise management teams to achieve sales targets and improve overall performance
Oversee retail management activities including merchandising, inventory control, and customer service standards
Develop and implement sales strategies that enhance revenue growth and market share
Manage administrative functions such as budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and compliance with company policies
Foster effective communication within teams through clear phone etiquette, organisational skills, and active listening
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) regularly to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed

Requirements

Proven management experience with a strong background in supervising teams within retail or similar environments
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop staff at all levels
Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to ensure clarity in instructions and feedback
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Administrative experience including budgeting, reporting, and staff scheduling is essential
Ability to manage time effectively while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of the role
