Job Overview

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
Take and accurately relay food and drink orders to kitchen and bar staff
Serve beverages and dishes promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas at all times
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Follow food safety protocols diligently during food preparation, serving, and handling
Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including basic math for billing purposes
Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service
Monitor guest needs proactively, addressing any issues swiftly to ensure satisfaction
Support team members during busy periods by sharing responsibilities and maintaining a positive attitude

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety standards, and basic food preparation is advantageous
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Basic math skills for handling payments accurately and managing transactions smoothly
Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food handling procedures
Commitment to upholding food safety regulations and hygiene standards
