We’re Hiring a Decorator in Nottingham
Immediate Start Available

Megaclose was established in 1998 with the aim of providing students with a wide range of quality accommodation within a short distance of the University. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and ensuring our tenants enjoy a safe, comfortable, and pleasant living experience.
With our in-house maintenance team, we keep our growing portfolio of properties in excellent condition. From individual homes to larger city developments, we’re a trusted provider of student accommodation in Nottingham.

The Role
We’re looking for a skilled decorator to join our team in Nottingham. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has an eye for detail, and enjoys transforming and maintaining interior and exterior spaces to a high standard.
Immediate start is available.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out internal and external painting and decorating across our student accommodation properties
Preparing surfaces including sanding, filling, and priming
Performing full-room and partial redecoration as required
Maintaining clean and safe working environments
Supporting tenants by ensuring properties are well-presented and comfortable

Experience & Skills

Proven experience in painting and decorating (essential)
Strong attention to detail and high standards of finish
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Good communication skills with a customer-focused approach
Full UK driving licence (maximum of 3 penalty points)

Remuneration & Benefits

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 08:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work
Salary: £37,500
Location: Nottingham (properties located near Nottingham Trent University)
20 days annual leave + bank holidays
Uniform and PPE provided
30-minute daily lunch break
Immediate start available
