Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to respond swiftly to various situations. This role involves maintaining a secure environment through surveillance, loss prevention, and effective crowd management. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where safety is paramount.

Duties

Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorised access and ensure only authorised individuals enter the premises
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity and identify potential security threats
Manage crowd control during events or busy periods, ensuring a safe and orderly environment
Perform loss prevention activities by identifying suspicious behaviour and preventing theft or damage
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid if necessary
Enforce venue policies and procedures in a professional manner
Maintain accurate incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify hazards or security breaches

Qualifications

Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential
Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is advantageous
Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
First aid certification is desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided if required
Strong observational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond swiftly to emergencies
Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods and manage crowd movement effectively
