Job Title: Housekeeping & Night Concierge Assistant
Location: Leicester LE2
Hourly Rate: £13.05
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 36 hours per week plus overtime

Work Pattern: * Required to be flexible to work evenings, nights and weekends, 12 hour shifts on a rolling rota: 19.00pm – 07.00am, and 07:00am – 19:00pm on weekends*

What you’ll be doing

This is a varied role where you’ll combine customer service with housekeeping responsibilities to keep our accommodation running smoothly and with minimum disruption to our customers. Day-to-day, you will:

Greet students, visitors, and contractors with a friendly and professional approach.
Handle check-ins, check-outs, and everyday student enquiries.
Carry out daily cleaning of communal areas, kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, stairwells, and reception to hotel standards.
Undertake deep cleaning during student arrivals, departures, and turnaround periods.
Replenish cleaning materials & toiletries.
Manage parcels, maintenance requests, and building access.
Conduct regular patrols of the building
Ensure waste bins and recycling are collected and disposed of correctly.
Report any damage, faults, or health & safety concerns promptly.
Help keep the building safe and secure while supporting a welcoming community.

What we’re looking for

A people person with great communication and customer service skills.
Someone with an eye for detail who takes pride in cleanliness and presentation.
Reliable, flexible, and happy to take on both front-of-house and cleaning tasks.
Previous experience in hospitality, hotels, cleaning, or reception is a bonus – but not essential, as full training will be given.

Additional Information

Shifts include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Uniform and training provided.
This role requires a proactive, flexible approach to ensure both front-of-house and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
