Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Female Health & Fitness Coach to join our passionate and driven team. This is a small but very meaningful role in a nurturing and unique private gym, guided by a warm and nurturing ethos. The role involves guiding clients through personalised fitness programmes tailored to women's health needs, fostering motivation, and promoting overall well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for health, fitness, and empowering women to achieve their personal goals. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your coaching skills within a supportive environment. A passion for women’s health and some experience of working with post natal women, women experiencing hormonal change or willingness to learn is desirable.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver customised fitness programmes focused on women's health and fitness objectives
Conduct small group strength training sessions, providing personalised guidance and support
Educate clients on anatomy, exercise techniques, and injury prevention to ensure safe practice
Motivate clients to maintain consistent engagement and achieve their health targets
Maintain a professional and welcoming environment that encourages client confidence and comfort
Stay updated with the latest developments in sports coaching, fitness trends, and health research
Client check ins and goal setting
Opening & closing the gym
Leading early morning sessions.

Skills

Proven experience in sports coaching or fitness instruction, preferably specialising in women's health
Strong teaching abilities with the capacity to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively
In-depth knowledge of human anatomy relevant to exercise and rehabilitation
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients of diverse backgrounds
Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude towards client development and well-being
Ability to work independently whilst maintaining high standards of professionalism
