Job Title: Before and After School Club Play Worker

Each child is engaged with fun, active activities, and healthy snacks, cared for by our dedicated staff who exemplify excellence. We ensure a safe and supportive environment that encourages friendship and embodies the fun inherent in every learning opportunity. Responsible for ensuring team members are supported and parents are informed.

Key Responsibilities:

Programme Planning and Development:

Implement a diverse range of activities and programmes that cater to the interests and needs of children.

Ensure that all activities are age-appropriate, educational, and aligned with policies and goals.

Hours:

Monday - Friday Term Time 22.5 hours per week term time Plus 1 hour per week meeting on a Friday 9.45 - 10.45am

7.15am - 8.45am and 3.00pm - 6.00pm

All days and hours must be attended

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe environment and in compliance with regulations.

Implement and oversee emergency procedures and protocols.

Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and other required documentation.

Communication and Collaboration:

Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians, addressing concerns and providing regular updates on programme activities.

Marketing and Outreach:

Promote before and after school programmes to increase enrolment and participation.

Qualifications:

Education:

Child Development

Experience:

Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a role within educational or recreational programmes.

Demonstrated experience in developing and managing programmes.

Skills:

Strong leadership and organisational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficient in budget management and resource allocation.

Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people.

Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards for childcare programmes.

Hold a valid driver licence and have your own car.

Certifications:

First Aid certification.

Start Date: 1st September 2026
