Escape to the heart of the Forest of Dean, where your work makes every guest’s woodland stay unforgettable

Location: Forest of Dean (Coleford, Gloucestershire)
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Working Hours: Part-time, 12 hours per week
Days of Work: Monday and Friday, 9:30am until 3:30pm

We have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper to join our team at Forest of Dean. Work in one of the UK’s most stunning forest locations, developing your skills while providing outstanding service to our guests. Sheltered beneath the protective canopy of ancient oak woodland or situated in the open meadow at the forest edge, our cabins at Forest of Dean offer an escape from everyday life in one of Britain’s most amazing forests.

About the Housekeeper Role:

Open all year round, our Housekeepers work in small teams, cleaning multiple cabins per shift. Passionate about the little details, you understand the importance of exceptional cleanliness, it’s what keeps our guests coming back time and time again.

Key responsibilities include:

➡️ Cleaning and preparing multiple cabins per shift to the highest standard.
➡️ Ensuring all cabins are spotless and welcoming for arriving guests.
➡️ Taking pride in your work and attention to detail at all times.
➡️ Following brand standards to ensure every guest experiences the Forest Feeling from the moment they step into their cabin.

What Are We Looking For?

Our ideal Housekeeper will be enthusiastic, energetic, and eager to deliver on our exceptional brand standards. You’ll be a team player with a keen eye for detail, capable of building good working relationships with colleagues and meeting set timescales.

We’re looking for someone with:

✅ A positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic
✅ The ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
✅ Great attention to detail, ensuring high cleanliness standards are met
✅ Some previous experience in a similar role
✅ A willingness to work outdoors in a natural setting, whatever the weather

Pay Rates for Aged 16 and 17:

16 years: £8.00 per hour
17 years: £10.85 per hour
