Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, serve a variety of beverages, and ensure excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a lively environment while maintaining high standards of food safety and service efficiency. The position is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences.
Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver drinks promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces, adhering to food safety regulations.
Monitor guest intoxication levels responsibly and manage situations professionally to promote a safe environment.
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system efficiently.
Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
Uphold all health and safety standards related to food safety and alcohol service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A personable attitude with strong communication skills suitable for engaging with diverse guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to build their career within the hospitality industry while delivering exceptional service in a lively setting.

Pay: £12.21-£18.00 per hour
