Job Title: Social Media & Content Creator
Location: Norwich/Hybrid
Salary: £30,000 FTE (pro-rata for part time staff)
Hours: 15 Hours per week
Reports To: Finance and Fundraising Manager

Every day, the Sue Lambert Trust supports survivors of sexual abuse, sexual violence and rape across Norfolk. We believe everyone deserves to be heard, believed and supported—and we need an exceptional storyteller to help us share that message.
We’re looking for a creative, enthusiastic and highly organised Social Media & Content Creator to lead our digital communications and help grow awareness, engagement and support for our charity.

About the role:
You’ll be responsible for planning, creating and publishing engaging content across our digital channels, helping us reach survivors, supporters, fundraisers, volunteers, corporate partners and the wider community.
Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll bring our work to life through compelling stories, photography, video, graphics, newsletters and website content.
No two days will be the same—you might be interviewing a fundraiser after they’ve completed a skydive, creating a Reel for Norwich Pride, designing graphics for a fundraising campaign, or writing a blog about the impact of counselling.
Key Responsibilities:
· Managing our Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other social media channels.
· Planning and maintaining a content calendar.
· Creating high-quality graphics, photography, and short-form videos.
· Writing engaging captions, blogs, newsletters, and website content.
· Growing our online audiences and increasing engagement.
· Covering fundraising events, awareness campaigns and community activities.
· Monitoring analytics and reporting on campaign performance.
· Working with colleagues to promote fundraising appeals, recruitment, training, and services.
· Ensuring all communications reflect our values and brand.
· Keeping up to date with social media trends and identifying new opportunities.
Personal Specification :
Essential Experience and Skills -
· Excellent written communication skills.
· Experience managing social media accounts for an organisation or brand.
· Experience using email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp (or similar).
· Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
· Experience using Canva (or similar) and creating content for Reels and short-form video.
Desirable Experience and Skills -
· A flair for storytelling and creating engaging digital content.
· Strong photography and video editing skills (or willingness to develop them).
· An understanding of accessibility and inclusive communications.
· A genuine passion for making a positive difference.
Experience working within the charity sector is welcome but not essential.
