Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking two dedicated and energetic Cleaner to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure that all areas are spotless, hygienic, and well-organized. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a positive atmosphere that supports the well-being of everyone who visits or works within our premises. The two vacancies available are for a 20 hour position per week, we require you to start on the 1st September 2026.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, classrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
Ensure all surfaces are sanitized according to health and safety standards
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to maintain continuous availability
Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
Maintain cleaning equipment by performing routine checks and reporting any repairs needed
Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
Assist with periodic deep cleaning tasks, including carpet shampooing or window washing as scheduled
Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities to management

Experience

Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Knowledge of safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude toward teamwork and customer service

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £9,898.00-£13,197.00 per year
