Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Multilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as we value diversity in our team.

Duties

Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly attitude.
Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.
Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring all materials are up to date and accessible.
Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, addressing queries or directing calls as necessary.
Assist in managing reservations, including modifications and cancellations.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
Provide multilingual support to enhance the guest experience for non-English speaking visitors.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hospitality or hotel environment is preferred
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on guest services.
Proficiency in phone etiquette and customer communication.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills related to hotel operations.
