Team Member

Shake Shack is a modern day "roadside" burger stand serving deliciously classic burgers, fries, hot dogs, frozen custard, beer, wine, and more. With our fresh, simple, high-quality food at a great value, Shake Shack is a fun and lively community-gathering place unlike any other. As a Shack Team Member, you will learn as you grow – training on every aspect of the operation and progressing in responsibility and pay. You will acquire various certifications along the way and will gain skills and experience to help you contribute to your success and ours. Get on the fast track to become a Shack Trainer and Cross Trainer at a pace that YOU have the opportunity to drive!

Qualifications:

No previous experience required!

Previous hospitality and/or food service experience, a plus

Ability to learn quickly in fast-paced, high volume environment

Self-motivated achiever interested in taking on additional roles and responsibilities

Open availability is strongly desired

Must be dedicated to excellence and hospitality

Responsibilities:

If you have the personality and pace to work as a team member in this fast-paced environment then working for Shake Shack could be the start of an amazing career in hospitality

Motivation to learn and grow in a professional, high volume, team-oriented environment

Must demonstrate reliability to deliver service in a fast, friendly and accurate manner

Food preparation, cooking and cleaning – delivering exceptional hospitality to our guests

Our Benefits Include:

Competitive hourly pay aligned to age-based rates:

- £9.00 per hour for Team Members under 18
- £11.85 per hour for Team Members aged 18–20
- £12.71 per hour for Team Members aged 21 and over (National Living Wage)

On successful completion of training across four certifications, the hourly rate increases by 50p per hour
