Goods In Line Leader (Nights)

Location: Coventry (CV2)
Shift:18:00 – 06:00 (Continental Shift Pattern – 7 shifts over 14 days)
Salary:£33,037.09

Due to internal progression, we are now looking for a Goods In Line Leader to join our team and play a key role in this department.

The Role

Working in a chilled environment, you will lead a small team to ensure the smooth, accurate, and efficient running of the despatch line. You’ll be responsible for meeting operational targets while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and health safety.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support the Goods In team to achieve daily targets
Maintain full paperwork and compliance standards
Monitor and deliver against KPIs and labour plans
Quickly identify and report any issues or errors
Ensure strict adherence to Health Safety and Food Safety regulations
Drive continuous improvement across the line

About You

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading from the front.

Essential:

Experience working in a fast pace environment
Previous experience in a similar role
Experience managing or supervising a small team

Desirable:

Food Safety Level 2
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Skills Attributes:

Strong leadership and team-building skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal ability
Highly organised with great attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proactive, with a “can-do” attitude
Committed to continuous improvement
