Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Pub Manager to oversee daily operations within a vibrant pub environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and maintain high standards of food safety and service quality.

Duties

Manage all aspects of pub operations, including staff supervision, inventory control, and customer service.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring quality standards are met consistently.
Supervise and train team members in serving, food production, and hospitality procedures.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the premises.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth food and beverage service during busy periods.
Organise staff rotas, monitor performance, and foster a positive team environment.
Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and promote a welcoming atmosphere.
Maintain stock levels, order supplies as needed, and manage supplier relationships.
Implement marketing initiatives to attract new patrons while retaining existing clientele.

Skills

Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
Strong team management capabilities with excellent leadership qualities.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
Experience in restaurant or hotel environments with a focus on hospitality excellence.
Familiarity with barista skills and bar management is advantageous.
Ability to oversee food production processes efficiently while maintaining high standards.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
Strong communication skills to motivate staff and engage with customers effectively.
Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to food handling and alcohol service. This role is perfect for a motivated individual eager to lead a lively pub environment while delivering outstanding service standards through effective team management and culinary expertise.

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
