07:30 – 15:00 Friday
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
No direct reports, but supervisory and training duties are occasionally required.
COMMUNICATORS:
Winery and Warehouse Production Assistant, Senior Cellar Hand, Cellar Manager and Winemakers.
MAIN PURPOSE:
To support the production of high-quality sparkling wine through practical, hands-on cellar tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Carry out day-to-day cellar operations to support the production of high-quality English sparkling wine.
· Assist with practical winery tasks including cleaning, preparation, movement of stock, production support and general cellar duties.
· Follow standard operating procedures and health and safety requirements to ensure all work is completed safely, cleanly and to a high standard.
· Support the Cellar Manager, Senior Cellar Hand and wider winery team during daily production activity and peak periods, including harvest.
· Maintain excellent standards of hygiene, housekeeping and organisation across the cellar and production areas.
· Work collaboratively with colleagues across the winery and warehouse teams, communicating clearly and supporting team priorities.
· Take pride in the quality, consistency and presentation of work, contributing to the standards expected of a luxury British wine brand.
EXPERIENCE:
· Previous experience in a practical, hands-on environment such as production, manufacturing, food and drink, agriculture, warehousing or a similar setting, or clear evidence of transferable skills.
· A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills in a structured production environment.
· Ability to work reliably as part of a team, support colleagues and contribute to a collaborative and respectful workplace.
· Good attention to detail, with pride in producing high-quality work and following processes accurately.
· Commitment to working safely, cleanly and responsibly at all times.
· Flexibility to work additional hours and varied days during busy periods, particularly harvest.
· A genuine interest in wine, craftsmanship and being part of a luxury British wine brand.

Pay: Up to £29,250.00 per year
