About the role

Courtcraft is a specialist UK contractor in the construction, refurbishment and maintenance of squash courts and timber sports floors. We work with leisure centres, schools, colleges, universities, sports clubs and facilities-management operators across the country.

We're looking for a reliable, hardworking operative to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Working alongside an experienced supervisor, you'll travel the UK maintaining and refurbishing squash courts and timber sports floors, including Junckers systems — the industry standard.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, travel and being part of a close-knit team. Full training is provided, so previous experience is a bonus rather than a requirement — the right attitude matters most.

Please note: around 70% of the work involves staying away from home during the week, so you must be comfortable with regular overnight travel.

What you'll be doing

Cleaning, maintaining and refurbishing squash courts and timber sports floors
Assisting with repair and refurbishment work on site - Travelling to sites across the UK with your supervisor
Loading, unloading and caring for equipment and materials
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism on customer sites

What you'll need

Full UK driving licence (essential)
Willingness to work away from home regularly (around 70% of the role)
Reliability, good timekeeping and a strong work ethic
A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work as part of a team
Good communication skills
Previous experience in maintenance, construction, flooring, trades or sports facilities is advantageous but not essential What we offer
