Datum is a successful pure play retail colocation business that has built up a client base of 60+ Enterprises (FTSE 250 and Fortune 500) and Service Providers that have now got to a scale that requires a dedicated ownership of Client relationships. Datum is owned by UBS Asset Management who intend to invest further to grow the business both organically and inorganically with the addition of sites and services. As such there is already substantial opportunity within the existing Client base and, with the forecast growth, that opportunity will develop further. The successful applicant will join a versatile and high-quality team motivated by the challenge of growing a business in a competitive market. The role will focus on managing the commercial relationship including upsell, contract renewals and developing a deeper relationship with the Client. The opportunity for personal development is significant in a fast-developing environment.

Role: Client Service Administrator

Job brief:

We are seeking a highly organised Client Service Administrator to support our Client Engagement function within a colocation datacentre environment. The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support to a team of Service and Account Managers, ensuring all administrative activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and within required timescales.

This is a new role and will be integral to maintaining excellent client service standards and supporting effective client engagement processes.

Position Reports to: Client Engagement Director

Location:Farnborough office (FRN1)

Contract:Full time

Hours:

09:00-17:30 Monday to Friday

Salary: Starting salary £20k-£25k dependant on age and experience

10% Variable Payment (Bonus)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative assistance to the Client Engagement Director and rest of team
Prepare and distribute client notifications and communications
Attend meetings and produce accurate meeting minutes
Prepare client-related data and reporting documentation
Assist in processing client orders and maintain accurate records
Support the administration and maintenance of the contracts management system, including price lists
Assist in the coordination and arrangement of client inductions and onboarding activities
Action client security/access control lists
Ensure documentation and records are maintained in line with company procedures
Liaise with internal departments to support operational delivery and client requirements

Experience:

Essential

Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong administrative and data management skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Desirable

Previous experience in a team administrator and/or assistant role
Familiarity with contract management systems or CRM platforms
Has the ability to develop a good understanding of the colocation and IT space

Pay: Up to £25,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

Farnborough GU14 0LX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
