Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in food and beverage preparation while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Previous experience is essential.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks
Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to at all times
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and dining area
Serve customers efficiently with a friendly attitude, taking orders accurately
Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system with basic maths skills
Assist with food preparation tasks when required, such as assembling snacks or pastries
Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimise wait times
Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety in accordance with company policies

Requirements

Previous Barista experience is essential
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment
Basic food preparation skills and understanding of hygiene practices
Good time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
Ability to perform basic maths accurately for cash handling and transactions
Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills
Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude throughout shifts

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
