Wholesome Health Chiropractic & Well-being Centre, Ashburton, Devon
Are you organised, personable and passionate about helping people? Do you enjoy creating exceptional customer experiences and being part of a positive, health-focused team?
Wholesome Health Chiropractic & Well-being Centre is looking for a friendly and proactive Receptionist (Chiropractic Assistant), focusing on co-ordinating client care, to join our growing team.
Initially, this role will offer 18+ hours per week to provide cover during two planned extended periods of leave (September - November and February - March 2027) . Following this, the position has the potential to continue on a permanent basis with 6+ hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours as the clinic continues to grow.
This role would particularly suit a qualified therapist (such as a massage therapist, sports therapist, chiropractor, osteopath or similar) who is looking to combine hands-on clinical work with reception and administrative responsibilities within a friendly, supportive and wellbeing-focused clinic. This may also suit someone looking for temporary work. There is genuine scope for the role to develop over time as we expand our services and opening hours.
We are a family-friendly chiropractic and well-being clinic serving Ashburton, Dartmoor and the surrounding communities. Our mission is to help people move well, feel well and live well through natural healthcare, education and preventative well-being.

Alongside front-of-house reception duties, you will support the day-to-day running of the clinic through administration, client communication, recalls and basic marketing activities.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
Hours

Typical duties may include a combination of:
- Front desk reception shifts
- Client communication and recalls
- Administrative tasks

Flexibility is essential, as additional hours may be available to cover annual leave, sickness and clinic events.
