We are looking for an ambitious Graduate Project Manager to join our team and begin an exciting career within the construction industry. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across high-profile projects while working closely with experienced Project Managers who will support your development into a fully-fledged Project Manager.

The Opportunity

This role offers far more than a traditional graduate position. You will be involved in projects from initial order through to final account, gaining exposure to:

Project planning and delivery
Commercial management
Production scheduling
Site coordination and management
Client relationships
Health & safety management

You will learn directly from experienced colleagues while building the skills needed to take ownership of your own projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting the delivery of George Jackson works to the highest standards of quality and programme requirements
Coordinating site teams and resources across multiple projects
Building strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
Reviewing client drawings and construction programmes
Preparing George Jackson sub-programmes and identifying potential issues early
Coordinating materials from our workshop to sites as required
Ensuring safe working practices and maintaining high site standards
Preparing method statements and risk assessments
Assisting with commercial management and project reporting
Developing the knowledge and experience needed to manage projects independently

About You

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated and ready to build a long-term career in project management.

You will ideally have:

A degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
Strong mathematical and analytical ability
Commercial awareness and attention to detail
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
An interest in construction, heritage, luxury projects or specialist finishes

Experience reading drawings and programmes of work would be beneficial, but not essential.
