Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Payroll Administrator to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in human resources and accounting software to contribute to the smooth operation of our organisation’s payroll functions. Prior experience with systems such as MoneySoft, or similar platforms is highly desirable.

Duties

Process payroll accurately and efficiently using a recognised payroll system
Maintain and update employee records related to wages, benefits, deductions, and tax information
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies regarding payroll procedures
Perform data entry tasks related to employee hours, overtime, bonuses, and other compensation components
Reconcile payroll reports and prepare analysis for management review
Assist with year-end reporting requirements
Support ad hoc payroll-related projects as required

Qualifications

Proven experience in payroll administration or human resources roles involving payroll processing
Strong proficiency in payroll software
Experience with accounting software and data entry accuracy is essential
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data management
Analytical skills to interpret payroll data and generate reports effectively
Good communication skills to liaise effectively across departments and external agencies
