Personal Assistant to the Managing Director

Location: Abingdon, OxfordshireEmployment Type: Full-Time

We are passionate about delivering exceptional wines to our clients, building strong relationships, and driving growth in the wine industry. As we enter the next exciting stage of our development, we are looking for a commercially-minded Personal Assistant (PA) to the Managing Director to support new growth and business opportunities.

The Role

This is more than a traditional PA role; it is an opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual to be part of FCP Wines’ next phase of expansion. Supporting Tom Ellis, Managing Director, you will play a key role in business operations while also contributing to strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-level administrative support to the Managing Director, including diary management, meeting coordination, and email correspondence.
Assist with business development activities, including research, lead generation, and tracking market opportunities.
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for meetings with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Support commercial projects and strategic initiatives that contribute to company growth.
Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners, ensuring seamless communication.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Manage travel arrangements and logistics for business engagements.
Assist with other business administration and operational functions.

Previous experience as a PA, Executive Assistant, or in a commercially focused role.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and adaptable approach.
High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

An interest in wine is useful
