Full job description

Lead Generation Coordinator

WT Consultancy is a growing health and safety consultancy supporting more than 1,000 businesses across the South West. We provide practical, hands-on health and safety support, risk assessments, audits, training and retained consultancy to businesses in sectors including construction, manufacturing, agriculture and engineering.

We are looking for an organised, commercially minded Lead Generation Coordinator to help us create a more consistent pipeline of quality new-business opportunities.

This is not a “post on social media and hope” role. You will help build, run and measure practical lead-generation activity: targeted email campaigns, prospect research, local outreach, direct-mail/flyer campaigns, follow-up and campaign administration.

You do not need to be an experienced marketer. We are looking for someone bright, confident, structured and comfortable picking up the phone, working with data and getting things done.

What you will do

Research and build prospect lists across our priority sectors and locations.
Support targeted email campaigns, including list preparation, copy formatting, scheduling and reply management.
Coordinate local lead-generation activity, including direct mail, flyers, events and business-network outreach.
Follow up warm leads, campaign responses and inbound enquiries promptly and professionally.
Maintain accurate records of prospects, leads, meetings, quotes and outcomes.
Help identify opportunities for WT Consultancy to be listed in relevant online directories, sector resources and local business networks.
Support the publication and promotion of case studies, blogs, checklists and sector-specific content.
Keep business listings, marketing collateral and campaign information up to date.
Produce a simple weekly report showing activity completed, leads generated, appointments booked, pipeline created and next actions.
Work with the founder, consultants and external PPC provider to ensure marketing activity supports commercial priorities.

What we are looking for

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good organisation, attention to detail and follow-through.
Confidence using Microsoft Office, spreadsheets and online systems.
Comfortable researching businesses and contacting people by email and telephone.
Commercial awareness: you understand that the purpose of marketing is to generate quality business opportunities.
A proactive mindset; you spot what needs doing and get on with it.
Ability to work from our Cullompton office for the agreed days, with flexibility considered after probation.

Desirable, but not essential

Experience in marketing administration, sales support, lead generation, telesales, recruitment, customer service or business development.
Experience using CRM systems, email-marketing platforms, LinkedIn or Canva.
Experience supporting a B2B, professional-services, construction, manufacturing or agricultural business.
A full UK driving licence.

What success looks like

Within the first three months, you will have helped establish a repeatable lead-generation process, including:

Clean, targeted prospect lists.
Regular campaign activity and structured follow-up.
Clear tracking of lead source, sector, status and outcome.
A growing number of qualified conversations and appointments for our consultancy team.
A simple weekly view of what activity is creating real pipeline.
