Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that the kitchen runs smoothly. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for food and hospitality, looking to gain valuable experience in the culinary field.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepped to meet service demands.
Support kitchen staff in maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area.
Serve food and beverages to customers, providing excellent customer service at all times.
Adhere to food safety standards and hygiene practices to ensure a safe dining environment.
Engage with customers to promote menu items and upsell specials effectively.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Perform basic math calculations for order accuracy and inventory management.
Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring all equipment is cleaned and stored properly.
Line working along with setting up store for the day after training

Skills

Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, with a solid understanding of kitchen operations, but not essential
Experience in food preparation and serving, with knowledge of food safety regulations.
Basic math skills for handling transactions
Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
A proactive attitude towards upselling menu items to enhance customer experience.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.

Pay will be National Minimum Wage

Are you willing to lone work, ie opening store at 4pm and setting up store while serving customers and getting ready for the day
Hours of work, store is open from 4pm to 11pm

Ideally we require night time work between 7-closing

Licence/Certification:

Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

100% (required)
