Vehicle Installation & Assembly Technician

Location: Willenhall, West Miodlands

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm | Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm (39 hours per week)

The Cleaning Warehouse is a leading supplier and manufacturer of professional cleaning equipment for industry professionals across the UK. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and excellent customer service, and we are looking for a motivated individual to join our team.

The Role

We are seeking a hands-on Vehicle Installation & Assembly Technician to assemble specialist cleaning equipment and install water-fed pole window cleaning systems into commercial vehicles.

This is a varied role combining workshop assembly, vehicle installation, and customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Assembly

Assemble window cleaning equipment ready for sale.
Wire and hose pumps, controllers, and associated components.
Build and test water filtration units.
Assemble water-fed pole window cleaning systems to company standards.

Vehicle Installations

Install water-fed pole window cleaning systems into vans.
Securely mount water tanks and equipment using industry-approved methods.
Drill and prepare vehicle floors where required.
Fit spreader plates and mounting hardware beneath vehicles.
Ensure all installations are completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard.

About You

You will be practical, enthusiastic, and customer-focused, with a methodical mindset and the ability to work independently using your own initiative.

Essential Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence.
Mechanical aptitude and practical skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Positive, outgoing, and professional attitude.
Ability to learn technical product information quickly.
Energetic, reliable, and self-motivated.

Desirable Experience (not essential)

Previous vehicle mechanical or assembly experience.
Experience working with commercial vehicles, electrical systems, or aftermarket vehicle installations.
Experience using hand and power tools in a workshop environment.
