Job Summary

BK Events is seeking 4 licensed Security Guards (SIA required) for a one-day outdoor cultural celebration in a public park. The role involves maintaining safety, managing crowds, and ensuring a secure and welcoming environment throughout the event.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor entrances and exits throughout the event
Ensure only authorised guests access the event area where applicable
Provide visible security presence across the park
Assist with crowd control during peak activity and performances
Patrol designated areas of the venue
Respond quickly and professionally to incidents or disturbances
Support guests with directions and general assistance
Report any safety concerns or incidents to the event lead immediately
Protect event infrastructure and restricted areas

Requirements

Valid SIA Security Guard Licence (mandatory)
Previous experience in event security or crowd control preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Calm, professional, and alert under pressure
Physically fit and able to work outdoors for long hours
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Ability to follow instructions from event management team

Working Details

Position: 4 Security Guards needed
Date: 28 June (one-day assignment)
Location: Outdoor park event
Hours: Full-day shift (exact times to be confirmed)

Pay: £12.71 per hour
