About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to take ownership of Finnmark's entire marketing function, leading our in-house channels and teams, including paid search, paid social, SEO, email/SMS, and creative - and driving the overall marketing strategy for both our UK and international businesses.
This is a senior, strategic role for someone who has managed multi-channel marketing teams within eCommerce before, and who can balance big-picture strategy with hands-on leadership. You'll set the direction, own the budget, and be accountable for how marketing drives revenue and profitability across every channel, while directly managing the specialists and creatives who deliver it each day.
As Finnmark scales into Europe, you'll play a central role in shaping how we launch and grow our marketing presence in new markets, ensuring strategy, messaging, and channel mix are adapted appropriately for each region.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the overall digital marketing strategy across the UK and international markets, aligned to commercial and growth targets
- Lead and manage our in-house marketing team, including paid search/paid social specialists, SEO, email/CRM, and creative (design, video, photography)
- Set and manage significant marketing budgets, ensuring spend across all channels is efficient and profitable
- Oversee performance across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, email/SMS, and organic/SEO, ensuring channels work together rather than in silos
- Develop and lead the marketing strategy for our EU expansion, including channel mix, localisation, and market-specific considerations
- Set clear KPIs and reporting structures, translating channel performance into commercial insight for senior leadership
- Work closely with the eCommerce team to ensure marketing activity and on-site experience are fully aligned
- Manage relationships with any external agencies or consultants, ensuring accountability and results
- Recruit, mentor, and develop the marketing team as the department continues to grow
- Stay ahead of industry trends, platform changes, and emerging channels, bringing new opportunities to the business
About You
Essential:
- 5+ years' experience in digital marketing, including significant experience managing a multi-channel team
- Proven track record of setting and delivering marketing strategy within an eCommerce business
- Strong working knowledge of paid search, paid social, SEO, and email/CRM, even where you haven't executed all channels hands-on
- Ideally does have hands-on experience in paid search, as this is our main revenue driver
- Experience managing significant marketing budgets and reporting on ROI and profitability
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in developing and organising a team
- Comfortable working with Google Analytics, Shopify reporting, and marketing dashboards
- Commercially astute, with the ability to connect marketing activity to business outcomes
Desirable but not essential:
- Experience launching or scaling marketing activity into European or other international markets
- Experience within eCommerce (Shopify specifically), for premium/lifestyle brands
- Experience with attribution & reporting tools
- An interest in interiors, wellness, or premium lifestyle products
