Tusker Construction Group is a family owned, and managed business, with over 30 years’ experience in all areas of the construction sector their success is a strong testament to the supporting divisions within the group such as Crane Hire, Plant Hire, Construction & Demolition, Steelworks, Haulage, and Waste Recycling. Our locations include: Harrogate (UK), Newry (NI), Broomfield and Lough Egish (ROI).

As part of our on-going growth we are now looking to expand our team and have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Crane Operator to join our team for nightshift at our project in Slough, London to operate our Spierings SK1265-AT6 crane.

Requirements:

Proven experience operating mobile cranes, preferably with models similar to the Spierings SK1265-AT6.
Valid CPCS card or equivalent certification in crane operation.
A full, Category C (Class 2 or equivalent) Driving Licence
Strong understanding of lifting operations, excellent spatial awareness, and a commitment to safety protocols.
Excellent timekeeping
Candidates must be flexible with work hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate the Spierings SK1265-AT6, ensuring optimal performance during all lifting tasks.
Efficiently set up and dismantle the crane on-site
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, conducting routine inspections and maintenance to uphold operational standards.
Work closely with site managers and team members to coordinate lifts and ensure project timelines are met.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £25.00-£33.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
