Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Labourer to join our dynamic team. This role involves assisting with various aspects of construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality throughout the process. The successful candidate will contribute to a range of tasks including site preparation, material handling, and supporting skilled tradespeople. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills across multiple construction disciplines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with site preparation, including clearing and organising work areas
Handle and transport materials using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
Support trades such as masonry, carpentry and plastering as directed
Operate hand tools and power tools in accordance with safety protocols
Follow schematics and technical drawings to support construction activities
Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and productivity
Support the team in adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements

Over 21 years of age for insurance purposes
Prior experience or familiarity with construction trades such as masonry, plastering, or carpentry is advantageous but not essential
Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Physical fitness to perform manual labour for extended periods
Willingness to learn new skills across various construction disciplines
Strong team player with good communication skills
Commitment to health and safety standards on-site
Valid UK driving licence

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,040.00 per year
