Full job description

Toffs Sliding Doors is a family run business. We have over 40 years experience of operating and trading in the fitted furniture industry. We produce high quality, bespoke products to suit a wide range of the kitchen and bedroom market.

As a family business, the individual really counts. You'll be a part of team, where you matter. We'd like someone with existing skills to come and add to our business. But also where the individual can grow and develop their skills and knowledge further.

We're now looking for an experienced CNC operative to join us. Your role will include all aspects of programming and operating of a CNC machine.

To be the successful candidate you must have:

A minimum of 4 years previous experience of working with CNC machines, including programming.
Previous experience working with Biesse Works software.
The abilities to set up and calibrate tools.
Be able to read detailed drawings, plans and CAD.
Relevant joinery qualifications.
A strong initiative and an eye for detail, to ensure our high standards are maintained.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
4 years previous manufacturing experience.
Have good timekeeping skills and attendance record.
Good communication skills
Strong maths skills

Additional information.

Hours are Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, and 7am-4pm Friday.

Full training.

Fixed working location.

Weekly pay.

Overtime available at 1.5 x standard rate.

Free on site parking.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour
