Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join a growing Probate department in Bolton. This is a permanent job offering a salary of £32,000 to £52,000 depending on experience, with hybrid working available and standard working hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Based in Bolton, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and expanding team, offering strong long-term progression and exposure to a varied caseload within a well-established law firm.

About the Job

This Private Client Solicitor job in Bolton offers the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload within a busy and reputable Probate team. You will play an important part in the continued growth of the department, taking ownership of files while contributing to a collaborative and client-focused environment. The position provides a balance of autonomy and team support, making it well suited to someone looking to further develop their expertise in private client work.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing a varied caseload of probate and estate administration matters from instruction through to completion
Acting as a key point of contact for clients, delivering clear and sensitive legal advice
Handling complex estates, including those involving tax considerations and multiple beneficiaries
Supporting the ongoing development and efficiency of the Probate department
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and third parties
Assisting with business development and contributing to the growth of the team
Ensuring all matters are progressed in line with regulatory and compliance requirements
Maintaining accurate and well-organised client files and case records

About You

This Private Client Solicitor job in Bolton will suit an experienced and capable individual who is confident managing probate matters independently while contributing positively to a team environment. You will be comfortable handling sensitive client situations and committed to delivering a high standard of service.

You’ll also be able to demonstrate the following:

Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with experience in private client or probate work
Strong ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently and prioritise competing deadlines
Proactive approach with the confidence to take ownership of files and drive matters forward
Competence using case management systems and general IT applications
High level of accuracy and attention to detail across all areas of work
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-focused approach
Professional and discreet manner when handling confidential information
Positive attitude with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to team success
