Full job description

School Cleaner

15.30- 19.30 (Monday to Friday) Term time only plus 4 weeks during school holidays for deep cleaning.

To clean and maintain allocated section of the building.

This includes, bathrooms, offices, staff rooms, group rooms, libraries, and communal areas.

You may also be required to, move to different areas around the school as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:

General Cleaning as per Allocated Section and According to Training Received
Washing Windows & Window Ledges
Sweeping & Vacuuming
Emptying Litter Bins & Recycling Correctly
Polishing and Dusting Designated Areas as well as Fittings & Fixtures
Cleaning Toilet
Cleaning Walls in Classrooms, Bathrooms, Hallways, Libraries, Offices and Communal Areas
Scrubbing and Polishing Floors
Using Appropriate Equipment
Participate in the Company’s Supervision Process
Support the Promotion of Positive Relationships
Follow Health & Safety Regulations, including COSHH in line with Company Policies & Procedures
Undertake Training as Necessary and Participate in CPD as Required
Follow the Cleaning Schedule as Provided/ Demonstrated by your Line Manager
Follow all Company Policies & Procedures
Maintain Confidentiality in Relation to the Company and in all Aspects of your Work Placement
Take Care of Own and Others Health & Safety
Any other task as required by the post and in line with the level of responsibility locking up the building

Job Types: Part-time

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Subject to the receipt of satisfactory references, Enhanced DBS disclosure (Child Workforce) and completion of Mandatory Training Courses - Prior to Commencement.
