Aesthetic Therapist

Part-time — approximately 20 hours per week

Job Overview

Berkshire Aesthetics is seeking a professional, personable and motivated Aesthetic Therapist to join our award-winning medical aesthetics clinic on a part-time basis, approximately 20 hours per week.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a serious long-term career in medical aesthetics. The successful candidate will begin by delivering and supporting treatments including Hydrafacial, CoolSculpting, Emsculpt, laser hair removal and skincare consultations, using world-leading skincare brands and advanced aesthetic devices.

You will work as part of our experienced team, supported by our senior aesthetic therapists and wider clinical team. For the right person, this role offers genuine long-term career progression within a respected, doctor-led clinic.

Responsibilities

The role will include:

Delivering Hydrafacial, laser hair removal, Emsculpt and CoolSculpting treatments following full training and clinic protocols.

Carrying out skincare consultations and recommending suitable homecare products and treatment pathways.

Supporting senior aesthetic therapists with more advanced treatments, patient care and treatment preparation.

Using world-leading skincare brands and advanced aesthetic technologies safely and professionally.

Providing a warm, polished and reassuring patient experience from arrival through to aftercare.

Maintaining excellent hygiene, infection control and health and safety standards.

Keeping accurate treatment notes, patient photographs and records in line with clinic procedures.

Preparing treatment rooms, devices and consumables to a consistently high standard.

Learning about skin health, body contouring, laser treatments, treatment planning and aftercare.

Working closely with the wider clinical team to ensure patients receive safe, joined-up and high-quality care.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

A recognised beauty therapy qualification, ideally NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum.

NVQ Level 4 in Laser / IPL, or be working towards this qualification.

Previous experience or training in laser hair removal.

A genuine interest in skin health, body treatments, device-based aesthetics and patient care.

A professional, friendly and discreet manner.

Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with patients.

Strong attention to detail and high standards of hygiene.

A willingness to learn and take direction from senior team members.

Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude.

The ability to work well as part of a team.

Previous experience with Hydrafacial, CoolSculpting, Emsculpt, facials, skincare consultations or a medical aesthetics clinic would be helpful, but further training can be provided for the right candidate.
