Our Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Daventry, is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

About Our Nursery
Our Daventry nursery is set within the grounds of Danetre Hospital, offering a convenient and welcoming environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. With thoughtfully designed spaces for each age group, we focus on supporting every child’s development, wellbeing, and confidence as they progress through their early years.
Fantastic Outdoor Space
Our recently refurbished garden provides a safe and stimulating environment where children can run, play, and develop their physical skills. Through our Sow & Grow programme, children take part in the full gardening cycle—from planting seeds to harvesting produce—which is then used in fun activities such as baking. The secure, well-equipped outdoor space encourages creativity, teamwork, and a strong connection to the natural world.

What will you be doing

Assist the Nursery Manager with the effective day-to-day management of the nursery.
Ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development
Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
Support, supervise, train, and appraise all staff to ensure delivery of high-quality childcare practice
Support the Nursery Manager to identify training needs; develop training plans and evaluate training undertaken by staff
Assist the Nursery Manager in delivering agreed occupancy targets
Maintain effective methods of communication with children, staff, parents, and carers
Assist the Nursery Manager in ensuring that all complaints and concerns are actively resolved in a timely manner and that these are reported to the Regional Manager
