Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service, creating high-quality beverages, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic café setting, ensuring customers enjoy a memorable experience with every visit. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, adhering to company standards.
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed during food preparation and service.
Greet customers warmly, taking orders efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Handle cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas throughout the shift.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Assist in food preparation tasks when required, supporting team members to meet customer demands promptly.
Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during peak hours.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Strong serving skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
Good basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.

Pay: £12.21-£14.86 per hour
