Pre-Sales Air-to-Water Heat Pump Engineer

Viessmann (a Carrier Corporation company) is currently recruiting for a Pre-Sales Air-to-Water Heat Pump Engineer. The main goal of this role is to support our RSM’s and customers with selections, design, and quotes. This is an office based position at our Telford office.

What will I be doing as a Pre-Sales Air-to-Water Heat Pump Engineer?
-
Processing requests via email /Phone.
-
Supporting both our internal Regional Sales Managers (RSM) and external customers .
-
Assisting with the selection and quotation of Heat Pump equipment.
-
Reviewing drawings and specification documents with the aim of producing our own valued engineered solution.
-
Reviewing competitors quotes and producing a similar quote.

Following a project through its various stages and offering project design support.

Support the RSM’s with basic technical answers.

Supporting the RSM with site survey’s when necessary.
-
Implement continuous improvements to the process and cost opportunities.

Interface with RSM/Customers and deal with queries for price and availability.

Working within a small team.

Generating reports.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
-
Technical knowledge of Heat Pump Monobloc and Split Systems.
-
MCS competent person skills for compliance and certification.
-
Technical knowledge of Air-to-water heat pump and applied hybrid products.
-
System hydronic design and application knowledge.
-
Experience of customer support.
-
PC literate – Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM systems (Training given on CRM).

Spruce A2W heat pump design and application software (an advantage, not essential training given).

UK Driving Licence.

The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999, NVQ Level 3 – desirable.

Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between £38,726.00-£77,219.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
