Full job description

Maintenance Person / Handyman 16hrs per week 2 days 8am-4pm

We are a friendly and supportive care home group seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Person / Handyman to help maintain our residential care homes. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical tasks, working independently, and making a visible difference each day.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general building and grounds maintenance
Complete light repairs and routine upkeep
Carry out painting and decorating work
Identify and report any larger repair issues
Ensure all maintenance is carried out to a high standard, supporting a safe and welcoming environment for residents

Requirements:

Good general repair and maintenance skills
Able to work independently and manage time effectively
Competent with basic hand tools and minor repairs
A positive, proactive attitude
Full UK driving licence (essential)
