Global Health and Safety is a UK-based manufacturer of medical consumables and advanced wound care products, supplying innovative solutions across the NHS and healthcare sector.
We are an established supplier on multiple NHS Supply Chain frameworks, including Advanced Wound Care and General Wound Care, and we are now looking to expand our commercial team with an experienced Territory Sales Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated sales professional with strong NHS relationships, wound care expertise, and a proven track record of driving product adoption across NHS Trusts, Integrated Care Systems (ICSs), and community healthcare settings.
The Role
As Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving product access, formulary inclusion, adoption, and territory growth across your region.
You will work closely with NHS stakeholders including:
- Tissue Viability Nurses (TVNs)
- District Nurses
- Community Nursing Teams
- Podiatrists
- Procurement Teams
- Pharmacists
- Theatre Leads
- Clinical Nurse Specialists
- ICB and ICS stakeholders
This role combines sales excellence, NHS market access, clinical engagement, and strategic account management to ensure Global Health’s products are positioned effectively within local care pathways.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Territory Management
- Deliver and exceed territory sales targets and KPIs
- Develop and execute strategic account plans across NHS Trusts, ICBs, community services, and provider organisations.
- Drive product evaluations and formulary inclusions, and successful pull-through into routine clinical use.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical and commercial decision-makers.
- Conduct high-quality promotional discussions using approved materials
- Develop clinical advocates and key opinion leaders
- Protect and grow existing business through effective stakeholder engagement.
- Maintain accurate CRM reporting and territory planning
NHS Market Access & Clinical Engagement
- Support formulary and pathway inclusion across secondary and community care.
- Understand local NHS structures, commissioning pathways, and decision-making processes.
- Work collaboratively with clinicians and procurement stakeholders to overcome barriers to adoption.
- Facilitate training, workshops, audits, and educational initiatives to support appropriate product use.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, medical, and leadership teams to deliver a consistent customer experience.
Product & Clinical Support
- Demonstrate strong clinical and technical product knowledge within advanced wound care and skin integrity.
- Deliver product training and education to healthcare professionals.
- Support local studies, service evaluations, and prevalence audits where appropriate.
- Ensure compliant and ethical engagement in line with company standards and NHS requirements.
About You
We are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven individual with strong NHS relationships and proven experience within medical devices or advanced wound care sales.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in medical device, wound care, or healthcare sales.
- Strong understanding of NHS structures, procurement processes, and formulary pathways.
- Existing relationships with NHS Trusts, TVNs, community nursing teams, procurement, and relevant stakeholders.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding territory sales targets.
- Experience driving product evaluations and converting opportunities into sustainable business.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage territory effectively.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong CRM skills.
Desirable
- Advanced Wound Care or Tissue Viability experience
- NHS Supply Chain framework experience
- Nursing, biomedical sciences, or healthcare-related degree
- ABPI qualification
- Experience engaging with ICBs/ICSs and secondary care environments.

Working Requirements
- Hybrid and remote working arrangements may be available depending on the candidate’s location and business requirements.
