Full job description

Looking for a new challenge - We would love to meet you

We are excited to offer this exciting opportunity to join our team and work supporting a young lady who has complex health needs and lives at home with her family in the Denton (UK) area..

Currently needing day staff hours from 9am to 9pm. 2:1 staff and waking Night staff hours from 9am to 9pm.

Pay Rate is £13.67 per hour following successful induction - plus enhancement for bank holidays.

Permanent contracts will be offered to staff who are successful following a probation period.

This lady is positive and happy and enjoys having fun with her family and staff . Staff are needed to support her with tasks including clinical tasks and routines, supporting emotional and psychological wellbeing, going out accessing the community and all aspects of her daily life.

Preferred but not essential. (Training and support will be available and includes)

Non Invasive Ventilator support
Cough assist
Suctioning
Peg
Oxygen therapy
Moving & Handling of people.
experience of supporting someone with complex health needs
Driver

Essential for the package

Staff need to be able communicate effectively.
Staff need to work on a rota basis which will require flexibility including weekend and bank holiday working.
Staff need to be reliable and committed to the package of care.
Must be willing to attend mandatory client specific training.
A DBS will be applied for prior to starting the position and covid vaccinations are preferred.

Permanent contracts for Part-time positions are available, shift patterns are 12 hours . Staff have full support, training and access to clinical support and an on-call manager at all times.

My Support Worker (NW) Ltd is a small family run CQC registered company. We employ Personal Assistants for people with long-term complex disabilities and conditions. This service provides unique and bespoke packages of care to people with a high level of need living in their own homes.

This role is ideal for individuals who are looking to make a positive impact on the lives of others while working in a supportive environment that values dedication and compassion.
