What you'll do

You'll be responsible for helping colleagues feel informed, connected and engaged with life at Nottingham College. You'll plan, create and deliver internal communications that bring our values and strategic priorities to life, ensuring messages are clear, consistent and meaningful across a wide range of channels.

Working within the Marketing & Communications department, you'll help tell the stories that matter, celebrate success and support a positive organisational culture for Nottingham College.

Alongside this, you'll work closely with colleagues from across curriculum and professional services to promote key initiatives, staff development opportunities, wellbeing campaigns, events and enrichment activities that enhance the colleague experience.

Responsibilities will include:

1. To co-ordinate, produce and distribute all marketing-led internal communications to staff and students, ensuring messaging is clear, timely, consistent and aligned to Nottingham College values and strategic priorities.

2. To plan and deliver staff-facing internal communications that foster a positive organisational culture, support employee engagement and reinforce college values, working closely with both Professional Services and Curriculum for departmental-specific updates and information.

3. To manage day-to-day marketing-led editorial content across internal channels, which may include StaffNet and StudentNet, email bulletins, newsletters and digital noticeboards.

4. To develop and deliver student-focused marketing communications that promote enrichment, work experience, employability, events and other wider

college opportunities, to enhance the student experience, encourage progression applications and improve outcomes.

5. To support colleagues across the College in their production of internal communications where necessary, such as departmental newsletters or communications with students / parents, in an advisory capacity.

6. To monitor, evaluate and report on the effectiveness of internal communications and engagement activity for both staff and students, using feedback, analytics and insight to inform continuous improvement.

7. To act as a key point of contact for internal communications queries, ensuring requests are prioritised and delivered to a high standard.

Who we're looking for

We are looking for an internal comms professional who is motivated by variety, people and story-telling within an organisation with purpose.

While experience in FE is not essential, you should be highly organised, personable and adaptable, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, who has proven experience in an organisation of similar size or complexity to Nottingham College.
